Kayak Salt Series


SALT Membership for 2017:  $20 for currant NEBASSIN members / $30 for non-members
• This membership allows you to fish any NEBASSIN SALT event throughout the region

2017 NEBASSIN CONNECTICUT KAYAK SALT EVENTS:
Event #1 Rules: (40 person MAX)
Date: June 9,10,11
Time: 6/9 at 4:00pm – Check-in is at Black Hall Outfitters 6/11 at 2:00pm
BHO Address: 132 Shore Road – Old Lyme, CT
Payout: 90% payout
Cost – Optional 2-part: $30.00 per angler to enter
1. All anglers must remain inside the kayak at all times.
2. All fish must be caught on rod and reel ONLY.
3. All fish must be caught from a kayak.
4. All fish must be released alive, any dead fish will not be counted.
5. All fish will be submitted via photos as this is a catch and release tournament with your own measurement device and must show all inches in the photo.
6. Each photo of the fish must possess the anglers tournament bracelet in the picture and each photo must be time stamped.
7. Anglers are free to use live bait and artificials to catch fish.
8. 3 fish limit (2 largest striped bass and the largest fluke or sea bass as the 1 kicker fish can be submitted for a the total length of 3 fish)
9. All fish will be measured in inches to the best of the anglers ability. If the angler chooses he or she is allowed to paddle to shore to photograph the length of the fish.
10. All forms of paddle, pedal drive and trolling motor kayak systems will only be allowed in these event.
Event #2 Rules:  (40 person max)
Date: Sept. 29,30 and Oct. 1
Time: 9/29 at 4:00pm – Check-in is at Black Hall Outfitters 10/1 at 2:00pm

Payout: 90% payout
Cost – Optional 2-part: $30.00 per angler to enter for Stripped Bass / $20 per angler to enter for Albacore
1. All anglers must remain inside the kayak at all times.
2. All fish must be caught on rod and reel ONLY.
3. All fish must be caught from a kayak.
4. All fish must be released alive, any dead fish will not be counted.
5. All fish will be submitted via photos as this is a catch and release tournament with your own measurement device and must show all inches in the photo.
6. Each photo of the fish must possess the anglers tournament bracelet in the picture and each photo must be time stamped.
7. Anglers are free to use live bait and artificials to catch fish.

9. Stripped bass will be measured in inches to the best of the anglers ability. If the angler chooses he or she is allowed to paddle to shore to photograph the length of the fish.
10. False albacore will be counted by numbers of fish submitted. Due to the Albacore not being weighted in, each pictured submitted of a false albacore must be a minimum of two minutes apart from each fish. This ensures an angler can not submit the same fish twice.
11. All forms of paddle, pedal drive and trolling motor kayak systems will only be allowed in these event.
