      Hey Jeremy,
Tough to say how many are signed up as we have 5 divisions in 4 different states. Any particular state that your curious about.
Maine will max out at 20, Mass will max out at 12, CT max out at 15/20 and NH max out at 12 also as of now. In saying that I would get your info, forms and monies in sooner than later as once they are filled they are filled.

      Hope this helps.

“Boat/Kayak POWER REGULATIONS: All kayaks any size along with 12 ft small boats or less, can be powered by paddle, pedal drive systems and trolling motors under 70lb thrust are allowed during any NEBKS events.”

Do canoes also have to be under 12ft? I prefer fishing out of canoes rather than kayaks and am looking to purchase a Sportspal canoe but it’s length is 13’10”.

Hey Tom, thanks for your interest in NEBASSIN. Correct, all makes and sizes of Kayaks and canoes are allowed for now in any NEBKS event. Its only boats that are 12 or less that are allowed.

      Hope this helps,
      Jamie

Thanks Jamie – just to clarify the “for now” statement, does this mean the rule is locked in for the 2016 season? Or can it be changed mid season? It’s important because I can only afford to buy one canoe 🙂

    Thanks again,
    Tom

Hey Tom, Yes this rule will be locked in for 2016 so you will be all set. Looking ahead, I don’t foresee an issue with canoes as NEBASSIN is here to promote the sport of bass fishing and offer a new opportunity for guys like yourself to compete in our events while having fun, making memories, learning making new friends.

Its on the “forms” tab on our website. You need to download the membership form and the waiver form. Follow the directions on the membership form and send into the correct director for the division your interested in fishing.
